Upgraded to ICS, battery life is terrible, is there a fix?

So i upgraded to ICS, and now notice i get barely 1hr of web browsing before my battery is 20% after full charge. I have screen on auto, and only 3g enabled. I saw something about a .215 leak, is that a fix to the terrible battery since ics? before my battery rocked, now cant do anything. I am going to calibrate my battery, but really want a fix for this, its terrible. Id rather not root or use a custom rom.
Thank you

I'm on the .215 leak, and my battery life is great. It's charging up now after getting over 32 hours on a charge with regular usage. I'm not saying you should or shouldn't root, but rooting allows you to freeze all the bloatware apps that do nothing but burn up battery life. :)

EDIT: And have you tried a Factory Data Reset? Starting with a clean slate after an upgrade is always a good thing.

is there a guide to going to .215? And also, what rom are u using? There are so many, want a trusted one.

I don't use a ROM, never have. I only rooted to freeze bloatware and free tethering. Never have flashed a ROM. :)

stock ICS update, umm i believe that is .211. Downloading now, 15mins to DL, will let it dl then be ready for ur guidance my master! Cant wait to try this out!

Go into your Menu Button > System Settings > About Phone ... just to be sure what version you are on.

Are you posting here from your phone or from your PC?

haha, posted it, then saw you ask hehe, yep there it is.
Thanks again for helping me, hope this fixes the issue

OK cool ... that's the one.

Now, we have to get it onto your phone. (Your SD Card to be exact) ... so hook your phone up to your PC, and place the .zip file on your SD Card. DO NOT extract it, just put the .zip file on your card and NOT in a folder. On the SD Card itself.
