I went to a kiosk in the mall today and looked at one of Verizons floor models, it had SCH-I500.DL12. I live in Washington state.

This is extremely unlikely. The display phones are almost never updated, which means it would have to be a spankin' new phone that was just put on display, and it shipped with a newer ROM. Possible I guess.

DL12 is what came before DI09, so it's an old build.

I can't find anything about DL12, and we are at DL09. Seems weird that they release 12 before 09, and that I can't find anything on it. Can you reference your claim?

Just do a google search for schi500.dh12, you'll get results like this one:

And I misspoke, dh12 came before di01. Not really weird that they released it after dl12 either since its the first two letters that actually make a difference.

DH12->DI01->DJ05(skipped)->DL09

I'm assuming there was going to be DKxx in there somewhere too, but for whatever reason it was dropped like DJ05.

You keep saying DH12, I said that it showed DL12. Otherwise I wouldn't post this. I get the first 2 letter thing, but It's still weird that it showed DL12 (with the letter L and the number 12). And yes I am sure of this, I had to double check when I saw it, and I compared it to my phone.
