Update screwed up my phone!

I rooted my phone weeks ago using z4root and in the middle of the night, I checked my phone and saw the update notice. Didn't know what the update was for but stupidly updated and I lost my root. I tried rerooting and it wont work. I've done tons of battery pulls and tried it so many times! After the update my phone kept freezing and is so slow so I wiped my phone to factory default and tried rooting but still won't work. After wiping my phone, I still have superuser on my phone. I don't know how to get rid of that so I can't take my phone into Verizon. Can someone please help me??? I've googled it but can't find anything for pro, only other droids. I can't afford 100 bucks to do an insurance claim.

You will have to sbf most likely.

The same thing happened to me. You will need to reflash the 2.26 sbf via rslite 4.9. Once you do that you can get the new update and then reroot via aroot.

Similar situation here that led to flashing the sf to 2.26. Its actually very easy.
