im having many problems with my d2. it is rooted and for some reason i cant text anymore and other little things. so i rooted it like a month ago and i would like to unroot it.
how do i do so?
You are going to want to sbf your phone back to stock. You will need rsd lite 4.9 the 2.3.2 file and the drivers for the phone. Let me get the link for you.
This is very important. Make sure you have your battery at full charge before trying this or you may end up with a brick.
ok so you will install the rsd lite 4.9, the drivers, and the full sbf file. then get into bootloader mode (directions in link). open rsd lite and hit the three dots next to the top. then you will look for the full sbf file (i put it on my desktop for easy access). connect your phone to the cpu and see if it detects it. if it does you can get into bootlader and then hit start and let it run. if you bootloop (phone stuck on droid 2 logo) the pull the battery and power on by hitting the power and x button together. then hit the magnifying glass next to the x. use up and down arrows on keyboard to go up and down and ok to select and delete to go back. go to factory reset option and and hit ok. let it run and when it is done then hit reboot system and you are back to stock.
I might watch this video first. It is for the droid x but the droid x and droid 2 are similar so this can give you an idea of what it will be like.
