Help Unroot 2.2 Froyo Moto Droid

I rooted my 2.2 moto droid which I had manually updated to 2.2. Im using Easy Root and it wont let me unroot my droid. It says your droid is unrooted, just restart, and then it says your droid is already rooted. It seems to be glitching. The point Im at now is that I no longer have super user permission so I cant do any of the things that root allows you to do, but at the same time Easy Root says Im rooted. So I cant tell if Im rooted or not. Either way, how do I fix this problem with easy root?
