2.2 Froyo update

2.2 is coming at some point, what to do?
I'm: Rooted Froyo 2.2 using a Droid 1 and running UD 5.0.1
Any help would be
greatly appreciated. Lots of ?'s I.E. Do I need to unroot? Do I need to bring the phone back to stock, etc, etc.

Take it easy there man. 1st off, probably in the wrong forum since this is for stock droids. 2ndly, if you are rooted and switched ROM's and running 2.2 already then the update will not be pushed out to you and life will go an usual. Stock droids are just getting the official update of what we already have.

The big issue on here seems to be about what if they lock down the droid. I just have no belief they will or even care. Probably just stop supporting the phone would be my thought.

If they do, I guess we all just get to start over but again, I seriously doubt it after what I have read on this forum.

I should also have pointed out that if there are any major changes that need to be made, UD will make a ROM update to incorporate the changes and you will then need to flash your ROM to the new UD. No big deal.
