unresponsive. need help immediately!

I took my battery out of my RAZR xt910 and out it right back in and now it won't turn on. Although when I plug it into the charger, the red Motorola symbol comes on but that's it. Left it on the charger over night but stayed the same and got extremely hot. Please help

Did you check under the battery to see if the connectors were bent or damaged? Take it out again and try again?

What are the connectors? Are they those orange things?

Any metal or prongs under the battery that connect the battery to the phone.

It doesmnt look as I'd any are bent or damaged but I did notice that the red Motorola symbol comes on even when the battery is not in the phone.
