problem with my razr

so I got my grandmother's old razr last night and it worked fine, until the battery died. Tried charging, it then needed a hard reboot because it randomly turned off. Each time I try to turn it back on or plug in, the motorola screen comes up, then the screen has this green bar go across it and is unresponsive. and now it won't even load to that screen.

Make sure you are using a Motorola branded charger, with a wall outlet. Although it has a universal sized micro USB port, my daughters Samsung charger won't charge my DROID RAZR Maxx. My RAZR Maxx charges her phone, though...

Just a thought.
