You know you have arrived when the Cyanogen Mod maintainers begin to pump out roms for your devices! Xiaomi is making a name for themselves overseas, but have yet to make their way to the mainland. If you have somehow been able to get your hands on one of these devices via the many firesales they have you will probably be happy to know that there is now an unofficial version of CyanogenMod bringing the latest and greatest version of Android to this device.
This means that you can get rid of the heavily themed MIUI overlay that comes with the device. MIUI was designed to mimic the look and feel of iOS, but has theme options so you can really make it look like you want. However CM tends to be much cleaner in some cases.
