The Xiaomi Redmi 2 is one of the best budget smart phones I have ever used. It comes stock with a pretty heavily themed version of Android called MIUI. This is a rom that I have been a fan of for quite some time. The Rom originally mimicked the style of iOS. If you would rather have a more stock android feel on your Redmi 2 now you can.
Unofficial builds of CyanogenMod 12.1 are starting to roll out for the device. You will need to have a custom recovery installed. For now there are a few major bugs. Both the front and rear cameras are not working. There is currently no sound out from both speaker and headset. These two bugs will make this non usable as a daily driver for many of you. Many of these bugs should be squashed in later builds. If you want to test it out now head to the link below.
