Rom manager may have been pulled from the Play Store today, but thanks to the development community we are still able to flash custom recoveries to our device safely and easily. Dhacker has released a Beta version of Clock Work Mod Recovery for the Moto G. While this phone is still not available on Verizon it has to be one of the greatest values in the mobile marketplace today. It is basically a Moto X with a smaller screen and its comes in at the ridiculously low price of $179 straight from Motorola. This will require you to have an unlocked bootloader. You will also need the sdk installed to your pc with fastboot and adb files. Just boot the phone into bootloader mode and flash the recovery "fastboot flash recovery recovery.img".
