Clockwork Mod is here for the Nexus 5. This is an unofficial port for the device. It has not been released officially by Koush yet. Once you have installed clockworkmod recovery you can install all sorts of mods , install roms, and backup your complete system, then recover it later. You can download the file from the link below. Installation is simple but does require that you have fastboot.exe and adb.exe files and a few adb commands.
To install:
adb reboot bootloader
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
You will need to unlock your bootloader before installing the new custom recovery. Proceed with caution as this is still unofficial.
