If you are looking forward to grabbing the all new Moto G from Motorola here in the next few weeks you may want to learn how to get it rooted so you will be ready when the phone arrives. This method will only work if you are able to unlock the bootloader via the Motorola dev site. You will also need Motorola drivers installed and have fastboot drivers installed. This probably won't work on carrier devices like the Verizon and AT&T variants.
Steps:
1. Unlock your Bootloader..Click here
2. Download SuperSU Updater zip from here and copy it into INTERNAL SDCARD
2. Power Off..Boot into Bootloader mode(Hold power+Vol down and release)
3. Connect to your PC
4. Flash Recovery through fastboot mode/bootloader mode
and Go into your adb+fastboot folder and Type in CMD prompt
Command :
Code:
fastboot flash recovery TWRP2.7.1.1-titan-motog-2014.img
5. Flash SuperSU zip from Recovery
6. Reboot.Done
