I tried the alternative process:xda-developers - View Single Post - [MOD] Data Service Governer Killer - Updated with How To: in the original post at xda. It works just fine with MIUI. It went from, before: 600kbps to after: 1450kbps dancedroid

The process seems the same the link I posted skips the xda login just a direct download to remove the govener customized for ud 2.5

Read the file name. That's the " back to stock" file. The file to remove the throttle is still relatively " universal" and hasn't been customised for many ROM's yet.

The filename is just misleading (and so is the placement of the link in the thread). It is actually the unthrottle file. All the files are called "throttle", and the UD file is called "again" because the file was bad the first time, so he had to upload it again.

No, UD has nothing to do with the limits. Verizon "throttles" or limits your download speed after you use so much every day. This removes that feature built into the phone from the factory.

Just to be clear, did you use the alternate directions to modify your services.jar from UD 2.5 on your D1? A couple of us on IRC were working on this last night, and if that is what you did, we'll quit working on it haha
