UD 2.1 and CW HELP!

So... I am sitting here realllly wanting to upgrade to 2.3. Tried to make a back up in CW. all it would do is boot to the M screen for a minute, go black, and thenn full boot up.

Did this like 5 times... same result. Un-installed CW, same thing. Tried to 'reboot to recovery'... same thing.

Dl'ed 2.3. Tried to install from SD. Same thing.

I have no idea whats going on... but Im not able to get into recovery mode which kinda scares me. Soooo any help would be grade forreal guys!

why dont you just flash alternate recovery then install with sprecovery....

I use SPRecovery and it has never given me a problem of any kind. Takes a few extra steps to flash but it's very easy and quick.

flashed alternate recovery.... same result. Getting a bit freaked out by all this. Never had any problems before

Did you get an "abort error" number or message in either recovery ?

Nothing. I select to reboot into recovery, it goes to the M screen for about 1 min, goes blank and then the M screen comes back and it full boots up.

So you cannot get into either recovery - when you originally rooted, what method did you use ?

I orginally rooted like forever ago... I just remember using the Sholes website

That is how I did it - way back...strange you are having this issue with both recoveries

- you could always SBF - reroot and restore your backup

If you have a good back-up then you could simply restore it and be right back to where you are but with a recovery -
