Types a Euro instead of $??

My droid types a Euro symbol instead of a dollar sign when i use the slide-out keyboard.. any ideas why and how to fix..?

Sounds like you have selected English(UK) instead of English(US) when you chose a default language. Go into the settings, select Language & Keyboard, then make sure the default language is English (United States).
