How do you turn off the notification ringtone on a droid x and just have it vibrate when you recieve a text or email?

go to your messages inbox and hit menu and go to notification settings and choose ringtone to silent and then check the box for vibrate.

Did this on the droid 1 not on droid x so it might be a little different but not much and I am rooted.

but you cannot turn vibrate on unless you go into your messages inbox and change it there.

What if I want a notification sound for sms texts, but not for emails? They seem bound together.
