touch screen response issues

Anyone have a fix for the touch screen dead spot issues? Phone is a week old but the dead spots on the touch screen are going to be a deal breaker. I do have the bodyguardz tempered glass protector on it. I have seen many others with this issue but no real fix.

Hmmm. I had sort of a dead spot on mine by the space bar on the keyboard.. I put a different glass screen protector on it.. And it went away..ymmv
