I installed that the other day and it was sucking down my maxx's battery. So I uninstalled it, because until that was installed I had a been getting great battery life.

I download one, once a month, I use it and delete it.

They change how your phone works and suck down battery...

I use Apprivia. I haven't noticed it being a battery hog or changing the way my phone functions If it does, it's an acceptable trade-off. I like that it adds safety to web browsing & protection from rogue wi-fi.

I am runnig AVG, works great. I see no battery usage when I check under settings.I have AVG on two laptols as well with noproblems or complaints. Norton and macafee drove me crazy, which explains my current condition!

If it works for you guys, awesome, but the use of antivirus apps on your phone does change how your phone operates. It may not cause you any problems, but it could cause you lots of problems, just like using apps like juice defender...

For some its awesome and the best thing ever... then three days later. . They have connectivity issues, and there device is unstable, lots of odd force closes, phone gets hot... lots of odd issues pop up.

Something to keep in mind.
