Thunderbolt Problem Need Help Now! Thanks!

Ok husband's thunderbolt finally just decided to completely die last night and the screen is just white! We don't know what happened! He took the battery out of it and put it back in and did a restart and its still white screen. He puts it on charge every night and about 5 this a.m. I woke up to a bright white screen and he said it completely died so not sure why it did that! Please somebody help! Thanks.

Can you reboot into recovery mode?

try pulling battery putting it back in .. hold the volume down button and power button at once . that will take you to bootloader screen. you have the option there to do a factory reset .. do that see if it helps.

ok husband called verizon and apparently it had something to do with an update..it didn't ask if he wanted to update just did itself and apparently the update didn't finish or had an error half way thru and messed up the phone so verizon got it back working again! thank god! lol. thanks everyone for your help!
