Thunderbolt GPS Keeps Searching!!!! And no GPS app did solve the problem :(

Ok I have Maps update 5.9 on my TB. It just keeps searching. The odd thing is that the GPS locks on to me and knows where I am but cant seem to get a fix when getting directions. I was thinking on uninstalling maps but doesn't look like I can do that!?? Any ideas?
