thunderbolt being extreemly annoying.

My Brothers thunderbolt is rebooting into clockwork to try to instal an update approximately 1 minute after booting EVERY TIME. this is really frustrating because he wants to backup his contacts so he cant instal a new ROM.

Edit: clearing the cache seemed to work. managed to backup his contacts to get them for his new ROM

you sure its booting into clockwork mod and not the stock "recovery" or hboot?
if he has a PG05IMG.zip file on the root of his SD card, tell him to delete it. it may be trying to install the verizon OTA which will cause even more issues.

i have never heard of it automatically booting into clockwork...that just isn't right.

His contacts are already backed up by his Google account, all he has to do is sign into his Google account after flashing a ROM and let them sync with it for like 5 minutes.
