I have contemplated rooting a few times, but have always backed out.

I almost rooted my Galaxy Nexus before I gave it to my wife. I thought about rooting my Rezound but decided to wait until after I got my OTA.

I now have the OTA and phone is running great. What is the upside to rooting now? Are there copies of Jelly Bean out there that I could get? What is the liklihood of the Rezound getting a Jelly Bean OTA or will that never happen?

Just trying to decide if I should roll the dice and root my Rezound or just leave well enough alone. And lastly, for those of you who have rooted multiple devices, would you say the Rez is an easy device to root, a hard one or sort of in the middle?

The advantages of rooting are:
o make nandroid backups with a custom recovery
o backup apps & data with Titanium Backup
o free wifi teather
o run a Rom if you really like its features

CyanogenMod9 has just arrived, and devs are still trying to get the bugs ironed out.

CM10 is jellybeans and still far away.
