Do I factory reset before and after I update to JB or just after? I kinda don't see the point of FRS before updating since it will still leave ICS stuff, but I could be wrong.

Doesn't matter, just do one or the other.

Wiping before updating and then immediately updating means the next time you boot you'll be on JB with no user data.

Wiping after updating means that the ICS data is wiped and the next time you boot you'll be on JB with no user data.

Houston, we have a problem, TX, USA

so far i haven't had that problem, however i did sbf back to stock ics before downloading the ota, and once that was done, i did a factory reset from inside jb (thru privacy control panel). i did it that was because when i went into recovery and tried to reset there, i noticed when jb came back up, all my pics and stuff were still there - it hadn't wiped the internal sd card. since i'd already backed that up to my pc i wiped it w/ the factory reset in the privacy panel and now it's clean. no keyboard issues for me. behaves exactly as it did in ics.

Someone at XDA mentioned they installed it and said they couldn't get Razr Blade to work.

Ok. But I updated by OTA some weekes ago. This new version is from OTA and flashable with RSD Lite. I mean: it's not a new version from Verizon, right?

EDIT: have you ever had wireless problems after updating?

Check here:
http://www.droidforums.net/forum/dr...complete-jellybean-thread-32.html#post2404745

Maybe this flash solves the problem. (???)
this is a new firmware version pulled from a motorola server, like all firmware (.sbf/.xml) is/are.
this new version may never get pushed as an update.zip through verizon
it has nothing to do with wireless service wifi or verizon.
it is not unusual for motorola to make a version that never gets pushed as a update
