[ROM] The CM7 Gingerbread ROM (CM4D2-GB) is now ready for prime time!

i have been enjoying this rom thus far. i do have to say though battery life is rather crap. I notice at points random drops in percents. sleeping for about 8 hours last night lost 20% which i didnt come close to on apex. with moderate to little use sometimes i will notice a drastic jump from 50 to 30. then a warning at 15. i have calibrated the battery as well as run jakebites for V6 supercharger and undervolting using ondemand. grrrrrrrrrrrrr

Yeah, I wiped data and am still having battery issues on 9/26, that weren't there w/the same setup/apps on the previous nightly. I'm hoping the next build straightens things out for me...

I'm just hoping one comes soon....thank god I'm a firm believer that "good things come to those who wait"

With light usage, after a little over 5 hours I was reading 50%, normally at that point I'd show 70% at least, and if 1% increments were working it would be about 75%, as my "normal" burn rate is about 5% an hour.

I started using Juice Defender again (Balanced mode) and things seemed to get better. I had stopped using it due to connection issues it was causing, phone wouldn't reliably reconnect to wifi/3G coming out of sleep, but so far that problem hasn't seem to come back, so maybe the data wipe I did helped on that issue.

That looks about right (for the amount of time your display was on). I get way more with the conservative gov.

I'm on wifi so I still able to use anything that requires a data connection, but if you look at the signal bar in the attached screenshot, you'll notice that I have no voice coverage. Is there any way I can get it back without having to reboot?

I've been away for a few weeks, about to jump on to the 9-19 build. I'd like to wipe completely first but dread re-populating my home screens the way I like em'. Has anybody developed an app that will do this for us yet?

Also, my phone seems to be running kind of hot and when it gets hot the screen acts crazy, jumping around, not responding to touch, ect. Any suggestions that I might implement once I flash the 9/19 build that might help cool things down a bit?

Ok, I'm seriously thinking about going back to the froyo build of this. I've pretty much had nothing but problems with this since I flashed. I had never had to pull the battery on froyo. I've done it at least twice now on gb. Also I was having to restart at least once a day because something random quit working.

I think actually I may have fixed most of that with flashing the 26 nightly and doing a full data wipe.

Now my main problem is the facebook app. Its terrible. It doesn't notify, when it does I open it and it doesn't update. I uninstalled it and reinstalled it last night and I had 2 messages, one from 3 hours earlier and one from a week ago. Before that it never even showed them.

On top of that my batterys no better so what's the point. At least everything worked properly on froyo with the horrible battery life

Anyone else having issues with the facebook app or anything else for that matter

9/26 is the most recent build, 9/25b2 before that....

Get ROM Toolbox from the market and you can download the most current build from the ROM Manager option in ROM Toolbox. Then use either Clockwork Recovery directly, or use the Install ROM from SD card option in ROM Manager to install. Don't use ROM Toolbox to install, not compatible w/Clockwork Recovery at this point.

You might want to go w/9/25b2 build for now, as some of us have had battery life issues on 9/26, but some haven't, so hard to say how it might go for you.
