Had a thought today. Since I became a flashaholic I tend to always be futzing with my phone to see how good its running or just to revel in the coolness of being blur free lol. So if my batt life sucks that's probably why.

Another way to put it is the phone works so much better now it makes me WANT to use it more....lol

Yeah. I feel the same way. The reason my battery runs down so much faster now is because I simply cannot put the darn thing down!

Sure would...I don't think ill ever figure out how to use jakesmods ...lol I need a breakdown as to what each thing on it does/is good for. Wonder if anyone would be willing to take the time to break it down into laymans terms for me.

Finally, this zip that opens the list of available governors under CM7 settings is what I needed to get good battery life! My phone was already blazing fast, but prior to flashing this and running the smartass governor, I wasn't getting the ten hours or more of battery life that I saw many others on here bragging about. Now I am. This ROM just keeps getting better and better! Sure, I know my phone is already a year old, but I'm not sure I want to upgrade when it's such a beast right now!

I'm with you on that one. I'm going to have to make sure that the upgrade has as many available options as ths one. Probably looking at the Droid 3 next year after it's been pillaged by devs and all of it's glory has been unlocked. I need a keyboard and I absolutely need custom roms like CM7!

I do believe I'm stuck in boot loop land. The arrow goes around once, then andy skates back in and it repeats, about 2 minutes now.

I thought I followed the instructions to a T, evidently not. Anyone wanna help a noob out?
