hey, i sbfed back to froyo, got on the GB update but when i go to root it wont work. im running windows and i instaled v7 but whenever my phone goes to reboot it goes into bootloader as if i was gonna sbf...
anyone help?

Can you boot into stock recovery? Boot up holding x key, volume keys to get into menu...

If so, try wiping data/factory reset and booting again. Then retry the root process...

Just popped in to say hi. Miss you guys, I got my bionic on release day and have been busy with it. I'm no programmer but helping with beta testing some things. We got a CWM Recovery and CM7 boots, loaded with bugs but it boots. I'd say a couple more weeks and we should have a good nightly for it. Right now I use my d2 as a paperweight, I need to figure out something to do with it since they aren't really worth selling.

Hey - how you liking the Bionic. I'm waiting for the Samsung Prime later in October-ish, but played w/the Bionic at the local VZW and it seemed pretty nice.

Regarding the D2...hold on to it, if at some point you lose or damage your Bio, it will be useful to have a D2 to fall back on temporarily.

I think I've just found kind of a huge bug in CM7's contact management....if I try to add a new contact as an Exchange contact, the only fields available are First/Last name. No other fields appear, either during creation, or if I go back to edit the contact.

Adding a new Gmail contact shows all fields, perfectly normal.

Can someone else using an Exchange account on this ROM please verify? Thanks.

Anyone w/an exchange account that can try/verify this?

This is my average score. But my batterey life is not the greatest. I will only get about 10 hours with light use.

I use jakemods options 9 and 11 and overclock to 1.2. Also set to smartass governor.

One thing I would like to see in this rom, is the auto correct spelling with the physical board. Anyone know to make that work?

I will be completely honest as always...as I am always...The samsung galaxy s phones are much, much, much faster phones..in fact my buddy loves rubbing it in my face...lol but, I'm happy with my D2...please, just don't rub the SG2 in my face...I need to save right now...and its actually so snappy it makes me sick....lol

Is it me? I wind up since on cm7 (all builds and kernel) getting higher scores left as is...when I start tweaking and overclocking my score drops.. a few times however I got to 2400ish..I was proud...but I'm not one that really gets into scores and all, as long as I know it will hit 1900 and up, I'm good to go....lol

Lol, of course brother! I was reacting excited as I love the SGs phones..they rock with snap..its all good! And awesome damned scores by the way..my phone won't do it...lol not that I've really sat down and tried...the fastest I got was 2700 and it shut down and froze a couple times..lol

The Bionic is...in a word, sexy. I always felt I should have gotten the DX back when I got my 2, since the hardware screen just seemed like an unecessary extra. This thing is amazing. There's quite a few pentile haters around that say this screen isn't any good...they're dumb. This thing is fast as hell, and switching to 3G only gives you amazing battery life too. Dying for CM7 though! And yes with the D2, saving it.

Lol well, its mainly bragging rights brother! Lol I personally use quadrant and cf bench for scores while I'm testing..but its good to know your cpu is zipping! For a while however..scores were a big thing...but I think now a lot of people have chilled a bit..it used to be all over the forums..lol it was funny how people would literaly fight and argue over this stuff..lol but I gotta be honest man..your score is kickin....I don't tweak for scores.. mainly bumping up a little to reduce lag..if you get your device too souped up you know it can fry! Be careful..they will shut down without warning on rare occasions but it happens..peace brother and enjoy the rank! Lol

WOOT! Im #1 now! 3648! Overclocked at my normal 1.393ghz, running just just my daily everything. Its been a while since i tested, you made me give it a try.

I'd love to know how everyone us getting their phones so fast. I have my d2 with
cm7 and jakesmods and just don't see much difference in speed. I don't know what i'm doing wrong.
