[ROM] The CM7 Gingerbread ROM (CM4D2-GB) is now ready for prime time!

I'm running JD as well (w/ultimate paid add-on), and have seen this issue infrequently/intermittently, but not at all consistently. It may well be an issue of JD not consistently waking up services it has put to sleep to save battery life.

Maybe that's my issue too thou I would swear it didn't show up until I enabled supercharger....

It happens when waking the p phone out of sleep.

Mine are mainly dsp fc...when I reinstalled this last time (fresh from froyo sbf, the whole nine yards) I didn't have any problems till I started dling all my (way too many) apps....

One Epic Blue and Bold Cm7(otaGBK) .----->fastforward!

Ya me too. The more apps I reinstalled the more dsp fcs I started seeing. Restored apps with titanium without restoring data.

is there a thread that can explain to me how i would put a custom boot animation on my phone?

search for bootanimation utility app (though it may be from XDA's site) it's probably the easiest way I have found to modify my bootanimations. Just DL the animation of choice, use the app to import it, it overwrites the correct file, reboot and voila!

Dl the bootanimation.zip that you want (I have some cool ones if you need)
Boot anims are kept in either data/local or system/media so use root explorer or another root file manager to access these folders.

Take the new animation and place it in system/media (make sure it is named bootanimation.zip and that it's the only file of that name in system/media or data/local.
Reboot and enjoy your new animation!

If you have any more questions, send me a pm and ill walk you through it.

dude if i had a million dollars id probably give ya half right now...thanks man that worked

now if only this boot animation utility app had a better selection id be gravy
They don't have a lot on there own, but if you DL any other bootanimation.zip you can import it with the utility and quickly change between them. I personally like the Droid 3 bootanimation, the Droid Bionic one is cool too! they are out there, just do some searching in forums and otherwise.
