[ROM] The CM7 Gingerbread ROM (CM4D2-GB) is now ready for prime time!

Sounds like it may be something to do w/your SD card. Can you open the zip file on your SD card from Root Explorer or other apps?

Thanks Redflea, I don't have Root Explorer, but I can try that. Unfortunately, it'll have to wait until I get home tonight or when I have some more time tomorrow evening. I'll let you know what I find out.

I have been using this for weeks now and cannot get over how wonderfully it runs... One really weird thing though: if I take pictures or video, upon exit without fail, Subsonic just starts playing whatever song I was playing last. This wouldn't be a huge deal, but I work in IT for dental offices, so if I am onsite, taking pictures of settings or whatever before working, it's kind of distracting and embarrassing to have Pantera or Mastodon start blasting out of my phone at full volume while the hygienist is sitting two feet away from me with her hands in someones mouth... And to make it worse, if you forget it does it, there is a 5 second delay or so after closing the camera, so it starts once you lock the screen and put the phone back in your pocket and it takes a few seconds to scramble to take it back out of your pocket, unlock it, open Subsonic and pause or turn down the volume. It's probably hysterical for anyone else watching but...

If you don't want to buy Droid Root Explorer (and I believe anyone who is rooted and ROMing should buy it!) then you can also try Astro file manager...support the devs, and if you get a chance to try Root Explorer and like it, buy it!

You could try:

- Clear data on the music app
- Uninstall/re-install music app
- Clear data on the camera

What wifi apps did you have installed?

Hell Flea, you making me think? Lol,..um...let's see..Wifi network switcher, wifi on off, wifi counter, wifi etc..the names may be off, sorry I was dling them when I couldn't get a network connection and it turned out to be the old router..wireless g..I know I know, who uses g? Lol thanks though...and by the way..I have always used stock browser (well most times) I just thought maybe that was a possibility aside from bad dl...I just remembered it stating the firefox..Which by the way, is a nice browser but huge! But while I'm on it, id like to find something faster than stock..I'm kindof playing with dolphin mini (don't like the green) and miren also opera..over the past year or so off and on I switch, but can't find a really faster one than stock sadly..I believe by compressing the files it should dl the pages faster but idk if I really notice a diff? What do you use bro?

One Epic Blue and Bold Cm7(otaGBK) .----->fastforward!

I remember this happening to me when getting a call..lol I just wiped data and cache and started from fresh..resolves many issues...lol but at times its easier than hunting down the culprit..lol

I use Boat browser...fast, and I generally like the UI. Dolphin is good as well. Those are the two I keep on my phone.

Opera is quite fast, but I have issues w/how it formats pages.

Xscope seemed to put a real load on my system...when I exited it it was like my whole phone had to reload itself from memory...have you seen that at all?

I bought the Team Black Hat app a couple of weeks ago and the apk file is on my SD card, but it won't install. Whenever I try to I get the following error message, "there was a problem parsing the package." I started a thread about it but no one replied. What can I do to get the apk to install?

Sent from my DROID2 using DroidForums
go to your email on your pc and download it to your desktop then put it on the root of your sd card...hope this helps ya
