[ROM] The CM7 Gingerbread ROM (CM4D2-GB) is now ready for prime time!

USB connect should work on first connect every time now - has for all nightly builds I've installed for a long time now. If you're having problems w/that feature, check:

- Moto USB connect drivers on your pc - make sure they are up-to-date
- USB port/cable
- Might want to wipe data/factory reset to clean things up

The feature does work correctly, so if it isn't for you something has gotten crossed up.

I did put in a 32gb but its all about the md5s not matching right off

It is highly likely you have an issue w/your new 32gb card, if that was changed before the problems started occurring. Easy test - put your 16gb back in and try w/that card.

I have a Sandisk 32GB in my D2 and it works fine, so your card should be OK, but clearly something is up and you need to be suspicious of each component until you rule it out. You might need to consider backing up your card, formatting, and restoring your files, but try the download before you restore your files. :)

Will do. Very well could be the card. I did 32gb card. GB OTA and cm7 all at once so its hard to rule but yes I never had any trouble with the stock 8gb

Just formatted my SD card. Re downloaded the latest nightly and it installed fine. Maybe the SD was the problem. I guess we'll see how the next nightly install goes!

Well, I can say this...I was greedy and blew a lot of cash when this device came out, however the device is and was a great price for being everything I expected and then some...Anyway, I wound up buying a 32 sd. Then I found out passing the 16 wasn't as safe as the others lower in gigs....So I used it for something else..I can say, once I started getting down to cleaning up the old card, I always keep at least between 50 to 70 used....Not bad...Just quit making all the backups and saving ROMS, no more issues, and I owe it all to the number one app in the world imo! Disk Usage! Lol

One Epic Blue and Bold Cm7(otaGBK) .----->fastforward!

I'll bet you a nickel we can declare victory. :)

What app?

Disk usage. I've used it for a while now. It's pretty nifty.

Some other bad arse Apps that i've come across that show how cool android is:

Webkey (trip out your friends)
Cam dictionary
Wifi keyboard
Remote droid

So I just sbf'd back to Froyo, but when I go to "apply sdcard:update.zip" it says E:signature verification failed, installation aborted

How can I get past this?..

So the newest nightlies are all in step six of the OP, as opposed to the other links scattered throughout, yes?
And to update CORRECTLY, I just download, boot into recovery, wipe cache, install .zip, reboot?
