The best droid file manager- not ASTRO

ASTRO stopped working well on my phone which sent me on a search for a better file manager.
I found it.

LINDA FILE MANAGER is amazing.
Check out out.

I have used Estrong's since my G1 days, and it has never let me down.

In addition to Astro, I'm using OI file manager. It works well with Docs To Go and Dropbox.

I like Root Explorer, but it does cost money. For a free one Astro still works pretty well for me. I did try Linda file manager and it worked good too. But all in all I still ultimately prefer Root Explorer.

I tried Estrongs and Astro. Both autostart on boot. HATE THAT. Not sure if they still do.

EDIT: Estrongs doesn't run on start. Maybe it did at one time. Maybe I was just wrong. On the other hand, I'm sure that after a recent update Astro autoran. Apparently it does not anymore. Thank you.

Root explorer. ive tried many but this one is lightweight and works great

I use Root Explorer when I need it, ASTRO all other times. I much prefer ASTRO.

If they did they must of changed it bc I don't see estrong running at boot.

Thank you for the correction. I don't know if it did at one time or if I'm just plain wrong.

As far as Astro, it definitely autoran after a recent update and I uninstalled, but don't hold me to it--maybe it doesn't do that anymore.

EDIT: Apparently Astro doesn't autostart anymore either. Thank you!

I use Astro and just tested it does not auto start with my phone. Has not locked up or given me any trouble yet.

I use Astro. At former times I used andExplorer. What exactly do you mean that Astro stopped working? I know it forces you to update when there's a new version...
