Texting Issues

New to the forum, and sorry if these problems have already been posted. I did a keyword search but couldn't find the answers.

I have a Verizon Motorola Droid 2, and I use the stock text app. Whenever I attempt to enter text i can get a few letters out then it freezes. The only way to continue with my text is to push the home screen button, then back into the text messaging app. As of late it continues to freeze up on me after a few letters.

I also saw someone had mentioned they don't receive texts for a while, and get bombarded with all the texts in a short period of time. That has been happening to me as well, and I live and work in an area with good coverage. Any other ideas on why this would happen?

You could try bypassing the stock texting app..I use go SMS pro and many people use handcent....both are free on the market...

Got the app still doing the same. It also freezes up on my browser and facebook apps
