I think this is only in random group texts
And it's not the same sender.
I get the icon to download a new text but it generally just spins and then fails.
And that icon shows up in the individual's single text chain with me until and if it successfully loads.
At that point it moves to the group text but doesn't show as new, might be quite a ways up the thread.
Hard to find and no indication which one it is.
I thought it might be because my phone is old and has a bunch of the memory used.
But this week some other family members with new phones told me it's happening to them.
We have Verizon in common but not phone brands or age.
Mine is a Galaxy S9+ on Verizon
