Tethering

I just rooted my phone and was wondering if there is a wireless tether floating around out there that is recommended by all you uber-rooters. This is my first time rooting my phone. So far I don't notice anything different about it, but I am still runniing 2.1. I am kind of hesitant to throw something different on my phone since I really don't know what I am doing. Thanks for any info and cheers!!:)

Wireless Tether from the market works very well....

Cool, I downloaded it..but it says that I need some kernel. Can you elaborate on what that is? I'm sorry for the dumb question, but this is all really new to me. Thanks man.

The EB16 kernel has dummy tething module. But that's a froyo kernel is you'd have to flash a froyo rom. Then flash the kernel. I dk if ec10 has it or not yet.

For those unsure, if you downloaded the EC10 kernel from xda forums, it does have the dummy hotspot monitoring module. I have had the most stable tethering experience on my fascinate with said kernel.

Thanks for all the recommendations. I have downloaded Barnacle. I read some great things about it. If it is as good as I've read, then I'm donating as well.dancedroid
