Teach me how to make my battery last

Can someone give me tips on how to make my battery last a whole day with normal usage like some of you all. Really getting upset when its dead by 6pm and I took it off the charger at 8am

It depends on what your definition of "normal " use is. 10 hours is a decent amount of time. Look under battery stats and see how long your display is on during that 10 hours. Anyways, a few things you can do is turn off 4g and only use the 3g until u need the extra data speed. 4g is a battery hog. Use minimum brightness when inside. Keep GPS and Bluetooth off until you need it. If you do alot of email or Facebook you can set your data to only synch your accounts when you go into the app and refresh it. Or you could always buy an extended battery.
