Sync icon stays on, then phone goes negative

I noticed that the sync icon (2 arrows in a circle) was constantly on. So I rebooted the phone, and everything was negative (black was white, red was blue) The droid eye scanning boot screen looked rather nifty that way. I rebooted again and all seems well so far. Just wondered if there was any cause for concern.

That is very odd. Never heard that one before. I would just keep my eye out for any other issues.

Didn't want to make a new topic, but have a new issue. The home screen will not auto rotate, I have to slide the keyboard out to make it rotate. However, the apps will autorotate.

I had that same issue when running the stock rom. Don't know what the fix is.

edit: Just to update, I had the phone off all night, calibrated the compass, and it's still not rotating.
