Switching from One Rom to Another

So, i've been using Liberty for a while, and I think I'd like to try out Rubix.

Am I best off wiping data and cache and restoring the phone to stock, and then flashing Rubix, or can I just flash straight to Rubix if I wipe data and cache first?

I always wiped everything and I've had no issues at all. I've flashed about 10 ( combo of the same roms ) roms and never had a single issue. So its a good idea to. Just wipe everything then flash the new rom. Just make sure you have a backup of your stock rom and maybe a backup of your current rom if you think you might go back. I have two backups of my stock rom and one of liberty. Im currently on apex.
