Superuser not remembering permissions

My Droid X is rooted, stock 2.3.15 rom, deodexed with 928Droid's black glass theme, then has the BigDX blue theme. Everytime I start a root app( root explorer, drocap, setcpu, etc) It asks for superuser permission every time, no matter how many times I tell it to remember ...

I have tried reinstalling superuser, which only breaks root. I brought back my backup..same problem, but I have root back. Clearing data for the superuser app has no effect.

Any ideas?

download the superuser from rom manager for eclair/foyo. Allow it to boot into clockwork to install the zip. Then go to market and download the newest version or superuser, its newer than the one in rom manager, but you need the one from rom manager first. Then go into the superuser app, go to settings, at the bottom, and check for updates for the su binary. Try that, I think it should work.
