Strom -> Eris

Did anyone else make this more?

I'm thinking about picking the Eris up soon. . . One thing i noticed when researching is that the Eris has OS 1.5 and is suppose to get 2.0 soon.

Is this true? Should I wait until the 2.0 comes out?

I use TetherBerry on my storm. . one time $50 charge and i can tether it at no additional cost.

I moved from a Treo and this was one of the things I hoped for. Overall, I love the Eris, btw.

I also just switched over from a storm town Eris and have to say that I am quite impressed. There might be the slightest lag but it is really not all that noticeable. The interesting thing is that I honestly was happy with my storm as of yesterday, but had the opportunity to get one for free, so I bit the bullet with partial intentions to sell it.

Honestly this device does everything well, the keyboard is amazingly accurate and quite pleasant to use.

Does anyone know if the recent. 2.1 update will be for the Eris too?

I've only had the Eris for 2 days now and I am loving the phone!

Typing is so, SO much better than the Storm.

One thing I can't seem to figure out is how to delete applications I don't want on the phone.

Any one know how to do this?

I have that, but it just shuts down the programs.. I want to delete them.

Sorry, I should learn to read better... I think if you go to the android market and find the app you want to uninstal, it has an uninstal button.
