Strange screen

I wanted to put this out to the larger group. This morning, I was using my Maxx just fine - nothing fancy, just the usual email checking, pulse, and fb. Later, when I hit the power button to look at my phone again, the screen just looked like the "snow" screen when you tuned into a bad TV channel. It seemed to be working otherwise - I got haptic feedback when I hit the back or home buttons. But the screen didn't change. I finally had to force a reboot (power+volume) and it came back fine. So it's ok now, but has this happened to anyone else? I wish I took a screenshot, but was too freaked out to think about that. Is this the beginning of the end?
