I want to back up my calendar. I use it to put all my employees vacations and appointments on. How do I do that.

Ive tried syncing it but it duplicates everything. Do I need to be saving everything?

Set up a gmail account and use that as the default calendar in the S3 Calendar app. This way everything you do is actually storing it on Google's server. This setup gives you one copy on your phone and one on the server. If you still want another copy you can export the calendar online (Export your calendar - Google Calendar Help).
As for the duplicates, This usually happens because you have multiple calendar (email calendars, local calendars) accounts synced. In settings look in Calendar and see what you have checked. Hope this helps.
