Still No Promised 2.3.6?

I still can't get Android 2.3.6 on my DROID X2. I have tried the "Check for Updates" thing several times, but there's no update and I'm still running 2.3.5.
However, Motorola said back in March that we were eventually going to get 2.3.6. EVENTUALLY...but shouldn't we have it by not? Supposedly a lot of people already do...

there will not be any more updates for DX2 according to motos website

Then it appears that I am the victim of a myth.

As for your signature: How well is 4.1 running on the X2? Because I would seriously consider putting it on mine if it wasn't too buggy.

cm10 is pretty good
some app don't stay open very long
like email, so if you read your emails on your phone that can get irritating

and like most dx2 roms you need to flash on 2.3.4
