1) did you ever see it on your phone or is this a new occurance?

2) Why won't Verizon help you?

3) Posting your email address publicly in forums is a great way to get spam in your mailboxl

4) In the email app you can create new mail accounts, so the phone will go and get your mail. or let gmail go and grab it for you and then let that sync with your phone

5) Welcome to the forums! :)

If you send email to aol it doesn't make it? But if you email a friend it does?

A lot of us are spoiled. My mother-in-law is in an area with 2 dial up ISPs. One of them is AOL, No dsl, no cable. My phone works in some places in the house. She has a cell on our family plan, a 3 yr old flip phone. I'm thinking an upgrade to an LG Ally will cost 10 bucks more monthly than what she is paying for AOL. For what she uses it for and how often this may give her faster internet.

Back on topic....
Anyone who picks up their phone should have their email setup by the store for them. Contacts should be good to go. There are multiple stores and their is tech support on the phone too.

And of course, there is Droidforums.net

Once memreez lets us know if he can see his AOL mailbox from his phone or just can't send email to his AOL acct, we'll figure this out.
