somebody please help me before break my phone.

so one day i wake up and my the icon for market changed to the default icon on my moto droid. click on it and find out it has erased itself from my phone. i downloaded vending.apk from somewhere and when it trys to install it just say application not installed and thats it. somebody please give me some advice this is really annoying considering im not a root user or anything.

Stock or root? Anything newly installed?

If you are rooted you can push the vending apk to system/app
