So how to do a "battery pull" with ICS?

Yep, it's the same: volume down + power for around 10 seconds or so. If you start holding the volume down button first, you'll also avoid taking a screen shot while trying to do it.

What is a battery pull?

Removing the back of your phone and pulling out the battery.

Since the battery in the RAZR/MAXX is non-removable, you have to do a simulated battery pull if you're in a situation where you need to completely turn off the device and it won't power down via normal means.

Moving to the ics forum.

Also, to prevent from getting a screen shot taken when you do the simulated battery pull, press the volume down key, then press the volume key and hold them both down... it works on mine :)

DROID RAZR MAXXIMIZED!!!! PREPARE TO BE VANQUISHED!!!

I went to the Motorola tutorials on ICS because I too was curious and it said nothing. You would think they would mention it. You know just in case type stuff, thanks forums.
