SEVERE battery drain... suddenly

been going on for the past week or so... seemed to have come out of nowhere. Note2 (VZW) that ive had since new. completely stock, never rooted/rom'd.. nothing. the last time that i had this sort of problem, i found that Google+ was attempting to upload all of my pictures, so i signed out of G+ and all was well. however, recently, im seeing that my GALLERY is eating the battery (32%), screen (19%, which isnt out of the ordinary) and Google+ (18%).

i dont have any photos set to sync either (Picasa, G+ or anything)

this is really frustrating me. i dont want to do a factory reset if i can help it.

suggestions please...

For those that care, I swapped out my 32gb scandisk SD card and threw a 1gb cheapie that I had laying around.

Problem solved. Now I need to swap all of my pics.
