Anyone else checking this over and over like I am?

and why are you not doing the manual update then? the only person to be mad at is yourself for being stubborn and waiting.

you can use the update.zip method which is around the forums http://www.droidforums.net/forum/dr...ed-android-4-0-4-ics-build-droid-4-xt894.html or use the fastboot files http://www.droidforums.net/forum/droid-4-roms/220480-ics-fastboot.html. both will get you to the ICS ota, the second option MAY erase all data.

You do not have to be rooted to install OTA updates...which is what all the leaks have been....OTA updates not approved by Verizon/Motorola.

Leak .217 was finally approved and is the official OTA update.

But this would require root right? Not having pc access would mean i gotta wait

nope this does NOT require root, you take the update.zip file and follow the how-to, root is OPTIONAL, i know this as i had done this myself on a prior leak where i was not rooted.

I'm on the 200 leak. Do I have to use the droid4 tool, or can I just use the update.zip on the sdcard?

Do I have to be on LTE to get the update? I don't know if thats the case, since i'm always on 3G.
