Sd card

I have the samsung fascinate.....I removed my sd card without impinging it first, couple says later I went to my music and photo gallery only to find it was deleted....have I lost then forever? Help!!!!!!!!

I assume you um, removed your sd card? Try, eh, putting it back in the phone?

Sorry, after removing and later replacing the same sd card the next day I went to my music and photos and they were empty. Help me!
