SD card full, want to switch to larger card

Hi. If I unmount my SD card, and put it in a card reader, and copy EVERYTHING on it to a folder on my computer, and then put a new, higher capacity SD card in the reader & copy all the stuff from that folder onto the new card, and then put the new card in my phone, will I then have everything I always had on my phone, plus room for more?

(Please don't suggest I just delete some of that stuff. I'm a bit of a hoarder, and this has already been suggested by numerous people. Thanks.)

Yes, that should work fine...you might format your new SD card prior to adding the files from your old SD card...
