My current setup. My other screens are very plain with stock widgets (music, power control, pic frames) and App Organizer icons. Nothing special. I'm debating on getting rid of the "More Icons" setup I have on this main screen. It's pretty useful to have all those apps ready with one tap but it's kinda ugly in my opinion.. hmm

MixZing, i added it the screen as a widget LARGE. lol I wanted to add another screen but i didn't know what to put on there so i shoved this and i use it pretty often it downloads album covers which is pretty cool.

didnt want to replace the stock music player for normal tracks but i think the downloading my missing album art part is enough to get me to try it thanks

I have it also. I'm pretty sure the colors do not change on it at all. I had it down to 30% and it was still green the other day

I'm not sure but I know last night I turned it on and it was at 15% and was an orange color and then when it got lower it turned red. Can't remember if there was a lighter green or yellow in there somewhere but I'm sure there was.

lol... i bet a lot of the people with these home screen replacements use them for more screens... I know thats all i really used home++ for. Its too buggy for me. I use to have a windows mobile phone... Samsung Omnia. So when i got the droid and it was fast as "a race horse duck taped to a scud missal" home++ can lag sometimes so non go for me there.

Seeing the Android 2.1 update though... im pretty sure a lot of ya all will be satisfied by the 6 screens once its released.

If you only want more screens, try Launcher+

I use Launcher+ as well. I dont need all the fancy immenities. Just give me the extra screen space.

After looking at close to every page on this thread i think im happy again even without the GDE dock bar thanks to App organizer that i found thanks to this thread

here is mine using home++...i used all 7 screen..separated by category like media and networking, games and the main screen has the phone and stuff i need at moments noticed.

My application folders are customized using "Apps Organizer". It's a great app. I also used it to change the folder icons. As for the app icons (messaging, browser, email, ect.) I used BetterCut.

I got my icons from this site. You can also download icon packs from the market for the BetterCut app.

I also skinned my Handcent Messaging app to match my home screens. The conversation is with my brother-in-law who has an iPhone

Can you explain how you changed the icon for your Handcent app. I was only able to change the icon for the standard messaging app. Thanks in advance

i cant get this screen to change. i only get the option for white or black. my conversation screen changed but thats it. any ideas??? thanks in advanced.

1.) You have to be running the Handcent app

2.) Go into settings and select: "Conversation list setting"

3.) Make sure the box labeled "Enable custom" is marked with a check

3.) To use a background picture make sure the box labeled "Use Picture" is checked.

4.) After checking the Use Picture box click on Select Picture and it will ask you search for the background you want to use and then crop it.

5.) If you just want a solid color other than white or black then select the "Custom Color" option and use the sliders to create a color. Make sure the transparency bar is all the way to the right.
